To support entrepreneurs—and to show that we approach real estate in a creative and innovative way—we organized a competition in which one start-up could open a pop-up store for free for an entire month in one of Belgium’s most premium retail locations.
With more than 2 million passers-by in December, the Meirbrug in Antwerp is the spot for brands that want to be seen.

More than 60 brands from Belgium and abroad applied, but one stood out through its ambition and creativity: STRØM.
The Antwerp clothing brand was founded in 2017 by four friends sharing a passion for design, adventure, and simplicity. Since then, STRØM has grown into a strong lifestyle brand with a loyal community and a presence at more than 100 retail partners, including JUTTU, A.S. Adventure, The Fashion Store and SKM.
The name STRØM refers both to Antwerp, de stad aan de stroom, and to Scandinavian minimalist design principles. Both influences are clearly reflected in their style and in their winning pop-up concept.
In December, STRØM will open an exceptional pop-up on the Meirbrug: a dynamic space in the heart of Antwerp, right in the festive hustle. Here, STRØM brings together more than 30 carefully selected brands under one roof. A unique mix of fashion, interior & design, food & drinks, and a curated selection of children’s brands with clothing and toys.
Alongside their own STRØM collections for men, women and kids, the pop-up also serves as the setting for the launch of the Magritte x STRØM capsule collection—an exclusive collaboration where iconic art meets contemporary design.
